SENIOR NEPHROLOGIST & TRANSPLANT PHYSICIAN. I started my Nephrology career in 2009. Renowned Nephrologist Dr M K Mani taught me not only Nephrology but also ethical practice of medical science. My first kidney transplant took place in 2010 and was successful. I have worked 12 years in south India in different Hospitals of Apollo groups. Thereafter I came back to West Bengal. Presently I am working with Fortis groups of Hospitals in Kolkata (both Fortis Hospitals and Kidney Institute, Fortis Hospital, Anandpur). My areas of interest are to work on prevention of kidney diseases, to avoid dialysis until compulsory and also on Kidney transplantation including high risk, ABO mismatch Kidney transplants. To follow Dr M K Mani’s foot steps to work on prevention of kidney diseases at community level we have founded an organization Kolkata Kidney and Medicolegal Support Society (KKMSS).
